Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their leadership team at a premium regional property. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue and developing the weddings, conferences, and events segments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain an existing database of clients and develop new business opportunities
* Lead the sales department and provide guidance to team members
* Negotiate packages and contracts with clients
* Manage the inbound process, including general enquiries, client visits, and follow-up communication
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous hospitality sales experience, preferably in hotels
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sales Executive or higher
* Strong customer service and account management skills
* A solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
* The ability to maintain and nurture existing key accounts and identify opportunities for incremental growth
* An upbeat personality, well-presented, and well-mannered professional who can connect with people at all levels
