Elevate your career with a global leader in commercial real estateChampion ethical practises and drive impactful changeSydney | Land of the Gadigal people or Brisbane | Land of the Turrbal peopleJoin our established and growing team at CBRE, where you'll work in partnership with leaders to foster an ethical and compliant culture across Australia and New Zealand through the implementation of global and local compliance programs.About the Role:Lead the charge in developing and driving the annual Ethical and Compliance Plan and Programs, including Conflicts of Interest, Whistleblowing, Modern Slavery, and Third-Party Risk.Provide strategic and tactical advice to the business on a broad range of Compliance risksDevelop and maintain risk control metrics and conduct second line defence monitoring activitiesAssume responsibility for the publication of the external facing Modern Slavery Report, develop e-learning modules for the business Organise and Lead the Modern Slavery Committee as well as attend the ESG CommitteeSupport client directors with any supplier investigations and ensure appropriate outcomesProvide Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee supportOwn and manage the Pacific policy governance frameworkSupport the Head of Ethics and Compliance on Annual Enterprise Risk Assessments as well as other key projects for the Pacific business.About You:Extensive experience in an Ethics and Compliance role within a large multinational organisationSolid understanding of compliance risks, controls and mitigation strategies including Data Privacy laws, sanctions, FCPA, Anti-corruption, Spam Act, Anti-money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer Principles and other regulatory requirementsSuperior stakeholder management and communication skillsTechnologically minded and an automation mindsetStrong interpersonal, negotiation, organisation and report writing skillsA proactive and solutions focused approachExperience in Real Estate industry is preferred but not necessary.
