We're on the lookout for a Community Manager to join our team at our Sovereign Gardens site, located just outside Ballarat. Ingenia Sovereign Gardens is set in Sebastopol, VIC, close to shopping, health services, and sporting clubs, with a bus stop right at the front for easy access.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll play a key role in the day to day management of the Community including asset enhancement, financial and people management, resident satisfaction, risk and legislative compliance.

In this Role, You'll
* Oversee the day-to-day presentation, maintenance, and compliance of the Community, ensuring high-quality services and a safe, welcoming environment for residents, staff, contractors, and visitors.
* Collaborate with other internal departments to achieve resident interviews and occupancy targets.
* Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resident records while ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, lease documentation, and industry codes of practice.
* Plan and deliver engaging community events, foster strong relationships with residents and stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensure workforce planning and performance management, and maintain compliance with Workplace Health and Safety standards through regular audits and risk assessments.
You're Likely a Match If You
* Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate, and a valid 'C' class driver's licence.
* Bring proven experience in a similar role, with strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, along with sound knowledge of building and grounds maintenance.
* Demonstrate excellent administrative and financial management abilities, with the capacity to work independently and maintain high standards of documentation and compliance.
* Are comfortable with occasional manual tasks such as lifting, cleaning, gardening, and using maintenance or kitchen equipment, while frequently moving around the site.
* Are proactive in maintaining a safe work environment, using PPE when required, and contributing positively to a collaborative and resident-focused team culture.
