Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical (AME 2 ($48.67) or AME 3 ($53.26) per hour + super).
Join Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) and contribute to the complete lifecycle of defence platforms. The Opportunity: join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to support the Republic of Singapore Airforce CH 47F (SG) Chinook Maintenance and Logistics Support Program. You will be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure productive task completion.
- Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
- Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritising the well-being of all personnel.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
- Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
- Current driver\'s licence
- Previous experience working with Military aircraft
- Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
