About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations at the Blitz Port Macquarie branch. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full scope of warehouse activities, including inventory control, dispatch logistics, team supervision, and facility management.

You will work closely with the Area Manager and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality movement of goods while driving continuous improvement across all warehouse and production areas. The role requires a strong leader who can support team performance, maintain high safety standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all inbound and outbound stock movement across warehouse and production areas

• Ensure picking, packing, receipting, and dispatch processes follow company procedures

• Maximise warehouse capacity through effective stock rotation, utilisation, and layout management

• Monitor inventory accuracy and stock integrity through ongoing controls and reporting

• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly

• Coordinate scrap metal and waste management initiatives

• Work with sales and customer service teams to maintain accurate inventory levels

• Liaise with internal teams to support demand planning and stock availability

• Supervise, support, and mentor warehouse team members

• Allocate and delegate daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to optimise productivity

• Conduct regular staff briefings and toolbox meetings

• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development

• Resolve operational or customer service issues professionally and efficiently

• Ensure high levels of service are delivered to internal and external customers

• Maintain strong communication with other departments and stakeholders

• Ensure full compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and company procedures

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

• Identify and drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives

• Provide reports and operational feedback to the Area Manager as required

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and dispatch processes

• Experience within building products, manufacturing, or trade supply environments is highly regarded

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a small team

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Current forklift licence

• Current open Australian driver's licence
