Job Role Overview:
This position is an integral part of the State Domestic, Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Unit.
The successful candidate will support the unit by conducting research, analysis and providing advice on policy and practice related to policing issues and initiatives contributing to improved service delivery in domestic and family violence.
* Conduct research on emerging trends and issues in domestic and family violence and develop prevention strategies
* Support reviews of Domestic, Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Command programs
* Provide strategic advice and information to senior management on evaluation, research and analysis of domestic and family violence and vulnerable persons
* Liaise with agencies whose policies or practices impact the Queensland Police Service
* Prepare comprehensive submissions and recommendations on domestic and family violence policy
* Represent the Queensland Police Service on national or State committees
