In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring successful implementation of complex ERP initiatives.As a key leader, you'll manage and mentor a high-performing team of consultants—fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and ensuring delivery excellence across projects.If you have a strong background in ERP implementation, we want to hear from you—your expertise will be critical in helping our clients transform their operations.What you’ll bring:Consulting or Professional Services firmStrong People Management ExperienceComfortable operating in an ERP project delivery environmentAn ability to manage complex stakeholder, vendor and team relationshipsBackground in Local Government business processesAbility to build and lead collaborative teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives.Deep knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle etcExperience in end-to-end ERP implementationStrong understanding of core business processes in Local Government (Finance, Rating, Regulatory etc.)What you will do:Leadership of Consultants:Team leadership - motivation / retentionPersonal development, upskilling and trainingPerformance appraisals, management and one-on-onesFinancial Management:Management of P&L and utilization and billable hours; seek to maximize revenue where-ever possibleBudget and forecast preparation; review of monthly accountsCustomer engagementCommunicate with customers at C-suite level leadershipFront projects from a delivery perspective alongside project managers, sales, product (where required) and executiveSign off delivery plans included in sales proposals and contractsManage expectations regarding delivery timeframes with both customers and within DatacomSales support:Assist the Sales/Presales teams with the development of quality proposals and bidsPresent to prospects on implementation practices as requiredEnsure continuity between sales and delivery, bridging the gap between what is sold and what is deliveredDevelopment feedback:Continually provide feedback to the development teams regarding ease of product use, customer experience and efficiency of implementation to enable product improvements and reduced implementation timeframesCulture and BenefitsDatacom is one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
