About the Role:

Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 4:30pm

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fibre Laser Machine Operator to join our growing team in Sydney. You will be operating a 6KW BODOR C Series enclosed Fibre Laser, working in a modern workshop alongside a skilled and supportive team.
This is a full-time position working 6:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
* Operating a 6KW BODOR C Series Fibre Laser (enclosed model)
* Loading and processing CAD files and nestle accordingly with good sheet management skills (drawings supplied by draftsperson)
* Basic CAD editing where required
* Ensuring component quality and accuracy
* Materials handling and sheet loading
* Operating a forklift
* Cleaning and maintaining work area and machinery
* Assisting with folding on a new Ragos 320 Ton Press Brake (experience highly regarded)
* Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Operations Manager
About the Candidate:
* Previous experience operating Fibre, CNC Laser, or Plasma cutting machines
* Due to the nature of the role, we're focusing on applicants who are local to the Preston 2170 area
* Experience in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
* Ability to use basic CAD software
* Current Australian Forklift Licence (essential)
* White Card (essential)
* Press brake experience highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Well-developed computer skills
* Ability to work independently
* Reliable, honest, and hardworking
* Works well within a team environment
