We are currently searching for Analyst Programmers to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.


Overview

The Analyst Programmer analyses user and system needs, designs solutions, and develops applications to meet business objectives. The role involves coding, testing, maintaining, and documenting programs while ensuring performance, security, and compliance with quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse, research, and evaluate user needs, system plans and user requirements.
2. Identify limitations and gaps in existing systems, processes, and technologies.
3. Design, develop, test, and debug programs and applications to meet specifications.
4. Write and maintain high-quality program code, documentation, and operational procedures.
5. Diagnose and correct errors within established testing protocols and quality standards.
6. Provide advice and input on proposals, strategies, and cost evaluations for software upgrades and purchases.
7. Manage application deployment, testing, and automation.
8. Collect and analyse operational metrics to monitor system performance.
9. Support continuous improvement and continuous delivery strategies in software development.
10. Build and maintain tools to support application manatechnologement and security.
11. Perform forensic analysis, encryption, decryption, and risk identification.
12. Mitigate security threats and performance risks across the product lifecycle.


Skills & Competencies

1. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
2. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, SQL).
3. Knowledge of databases, system integration, and software development frameworks.
4. Familiarity with testing, debugging, and automation tools.
5. Understanding of security practices including encryption and threat detection.
6. Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Experience in systems analysis, design, and application development.
3. Knowledge of testing protocols, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
4. Background in security, risk management, or forensic analysis is an advantage.
