A leading Federal Government organisation is seeking to engage an experienced Service Desk Officer to join a high-performing operational team supporting a critical case management system. The successful Service Desk Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of helpdesk services, supporting users, resolving system issues and contributing to continuous improvement activities across a large-scale service delivery environment
The successful Service Desk Officer will secure an initial 12-month contract with extension options, based across VIC, WA or SA with flexible working arrangements.
The Service Desk Officer will be responsible for but not limited to;
* Managing helpdesk tickets, system queries and user access requests
* Monitoring inboxes and ticketing systems (JIRA) to prioritise and resolve issues
* Supporting Salesforce-based case management systems and troubleshooting user issues
* Developing and maintaining documentation, procedures and training materials
* Assisting with reporting, data quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives
The Service Desk Officer will have experience in the following:
* Demonstrated experience working in an ICT Service Desk or support environment
* Experience supporting CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce or similar systems
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage and escalate issues appropriately
* Excellent communication skills and ability to support a broad range of stakeholders
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
