Support Worker Role
About the Job:
We are seeking support workers to service the Adelaide and Southern Fleurieu Peninsula areas. Your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients, including aged and high-needs clients, with activities of daily living and providing support services in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote client choice, positive routines, and activities that are meaningful to the client.
* Work shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering.
* Drive client and company vehicles as required.
* Support clients proactively to enhance their life choices both at home and in the community.
* Report changes in clients' health, care plans, or if additional services are needed.
Requirements:
* Completed a minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent.
* Current full driver's license.
* Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
* Living in the Southern Suburbs or on the Southern Fleurieu (Highly desirable).
* Reliable motor vehicle with valid registration and comprehensive third-party insurance.
* Smart mobile phone or device.
* NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
* Police Clearance within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain one).
* Access to the internet and experience using computers, systems, and applications.
