MGM is seeking a Workshop Store Assistant to join our Port Hedland team. This residential-based, Monday-to-Friday, role is ideal for someone looking to break into the bulk haulage, transport, and mining industry.

About the Role:
As a Store Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our warehouse and workshop operations, ensuring parts and equipment are where they need to be, when they need to be there. This is a hands-on role that will be required to:
- Collect and deliver local parts and materials
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Provide back-up support to the Store person when required
- Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Unpack stock arrivals, categorise and store appropriately
- Carry our proactive stock counts
- Prepare and allocate parts, tyres and oils to assets and prepare for daily collection by workshop personal
- Pack and arrange transportation of remanufactured parts to and from suppliers
- Control and arrange waste oil collection
- Attend and participate in toolbox meetings
What We're Looking For:
- Full C-Class Driver's Licence (Essential)
- Forklift Licence (Highly Advantageous)
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures
- Experience in warehousing or parts interpretation is preferable
- Basic computer skills including excel
- Well organised and focused on efficient service delivery
- Be physically fit
