HCG have an exciting career opportunity for a highly organised HR Coordinator to join our team in Maryville.

About the role

As the HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the Human Resources team through a wide range of HR activities. You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining employee compliance records, and ensuring smooth administration of HR systems and documentation.

Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you'll provide timely and professional advice to staff while contributing to a positive employee experience. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role offers valuable guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities as you grow your HR career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Duties will include:

* Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviews, compliance and reference checks.

* Preparing contracts, onboarding documentation, and maintaining employee files.

* Facilitating inductions and orientation activities for new employees.

* Monitoring employee compliance (training, licences, and clearances).

* Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and escalating where required.

* Supporting the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.

* Assisting with HR reporting, audits, and process improvement projects.

* Organising staff engagement activities, recognition programs, and wellbeing initiatives.

The successful candidate will have:

* Qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

* Minimum 12 months' experience in HR administration, coordination, or a similar role.

* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, approachable manner.

* A sound understanding of employment awards, conditions of employment, and relevant legislation (SCHADS Award highly regarded).

* Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office.

Essential criteria:

* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

* NSW Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain).

* Current NSW Driver's Licence.

* The right to work in Australia.
