A leading food manufacturing site in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their engineering team. This is a critical role focused on driving plant reliability, minimising downtime, and ensuring planned maintenance is executed efficiently in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
About the RoleReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the site. You will work closely with maintenance trades, production, and engineering to ensure assets are maintained safely, compliantly, and cost effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules for fixed plant and production equipment
* Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities
* Create and manage work orders, job plans, and maintenance documentation
* Ensure spare parts availability and liaise with stores and suppliers
* Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and improve asset reliability
About You
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or Scheduler within food manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies and CMMS systems
* Ability to plan in a high-volume, high speed manufacturing environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Experience with SAP or MEX or equivalent
