Senior Leadership Role in Arts Education
The Head of Learning Area – Arts is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an arts curriculum that meets the requirements of relevant authorities.
The successful applicant will lead a team of specialists in Art, Dance, Design, Drama, and Music, ensuring consistency in assessment practices, conducting regular meetings with staff members, and overseeing all aspects of teaching and learning within this Learning Area.
To be successful in this role, applicants must demonstrate expertise in their specialist area and have experience in nurturing the professional growth of educators.
* Applicants must possess a minimum of a Diploma of Education
* Current registration with Teachers Registration Board Western Australia
* Current Working With Children Check
* Willingness to obtain Accreditation for Middle Leaders in Catholic Schools
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum implementation
* Develop and maintain high-quality teaching and learning programs
* Assess and provide feedback on educator performance
* Identify and implement strategies to improve student outcomes
