About the Role As a Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities, ensuring a positive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include: Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and communal areas, including windows, floors, and furniture.
Maintaining toilet facilities and sick bays to a high standard of hygiene.
Managing waste disposal and litter control, including clearing drains and gutters.
Performing security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings.
Liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, values a clean and safe environment, and enjoys being part of a supportive school community.
About You The following traits would be beneficial: Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting issues.
Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles (beneficial but not essential).
Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
