Responsibilities
* Provide evidence‐based strength and conditioning services to QAS High Performance Swimming and Wheelchair Rugby programs, coaches and QAS categorised athletes in line with each athlete's Individual Athlete Performance Plan (IAPP) which is aligned with their What It Takes to Win (WITTW) framework.
* Deliver specific and relevant performance testing and tracking/monitoring for QAS categorised athletes, providing timely feedback to the coaches, athletes and Performance Support team members.
* Contribute to the development of IAPPs and assist in regularly reviewing the associated specific development priorities and performance metrics to measure progress.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary performance support team that creates a high‐performance environment to provide an integrated program based on the level and needs for QAS supported Swimming and Wheelchair Rugby athletes. This includes spending an appropriate amount of time in the daily training environment (DTE) and attending weekly Performance Support team meetings.
* Regularly liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to collaboratively identify current sport specific S&C trends to deliver high quality integrated outcomes.
* Stay informed and abreast of current advancement in strength and conditioning training methodologies and technologies. This includes working collaboratively on approved applied research projects which contribute to the effectiveness of the coach and athlete in training and competition.

Essential Requirements
* First Aid Certificate
* Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
* Current Provide/Perform CPR
* Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach
* National Police / Criminal History Check
* Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
* Drivers Licence
* Sports Integrity Australia Antidoping Fundamentals and Annual Update
Desirable Criteria
* A post‐graduate qualification in the field of sport and exercise science is highly desirable.
