The Opportunity
The College is looking for a high quality professional English teacher. Joining a team of over 100 skilled professionals, this role will see you:
* create safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans
* engage with the school community within and beyond the classroom to empower students to create a better world, using their education
* establish positive relationships including engagement in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
* use state of the art technology to contextualise and expand students’ modes and breadth of learning
As a teacher with Toowoomba Catholic Schools, you will be joining a network of 32 schools, that, with the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office form Toowoomba Catholic Schools. Through our shared purpose, enabling full and flourishing lives, we are committed to supporting staff and students to reach their potential.
You will receive regular support from visiting Education Officers and Allied Health Professionals - experts who will help you advance your pedagogy, ability to personalise learning and develop quality resources. You will also be a part of a professional network and given the opportunity to attend targeted professional development hosted by the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office.
