The Position To manage Council’s fleet compliance and training responsibilities including compliance management and monitoring, fleet training programs, management of FleetSafe Program and incident investigation analysis. Tasks and responsibilities Management and monitoring of Council’s ongoing fleet compliance-based responsibilities (Roads & Maritime Services, National Heavy Vehicle Regulations, Workcover Legislation, Council Plant Procedures, etc.). Develop and implement ongoing monitoring and auditing program for Council’s fleet. Management of Council’s fleet Chain of Responsibility policies and procedures. Implement operator competency systems and procedures. Qualifications and experience Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification Class C Driver’s Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Hours Based on a 35-hour week, working 35 hours per week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm with a Rostered Day Off (RDO) in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
