ReadCloud is seeking a sales consultant to grow our presence across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and regional Queensland. This is an opportunity to apply your understanding of how schools operate to build strong relationships, drive adoption of digital learning solutions, and support schools at scale.
About the role
* Drive new school acquisition and expand ReadCloud's footprint across Queensland
* Engage school leaders, Heads of Department, Business Managers and IT teams
* Deliver product demonstrations, pilots and workshops tailored to school needs
* Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiating contracts and licensing agreements
* Travel across Queensland to develop relationships and close opportunities
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline within the secondary education sector
* Develop and execute territory sales plans
* Collaborate with marketing, product and customer success teams to support growth
About you
* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in education or SaaS environments
* Track record of acquiring and managing accounts and closing medium-to-large deals
* Experience in the education sector (teaching, resource management, publishing or edtech)
* Strong understanding of school decision-making and stakeholder needs
* Confident communicator with well-developed presentation and negotiation skills
* Comfortable working with digital platforms, eBook models and licensing structures
* Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working remotely
* Ability to travel regularly across Queensland
