Nestled in the heart of Moe, Acorn Acres Early Learning Centre is now inviting Early Childhood Lead Educators to join our warm, nature-inspired learning community.
Acorn Acres is a brand-new, family-owned and operated Early learning centre in the heart of Moe.
Operating from 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, our space is designed to feel like a home away from home. With natural play environments, open-plan rooms filled with natural light and abundant age-appropriate resources, both indoor and outdoor play areas, we provide the perfect setting for 60 children to explore, grow, and thrive.
We currently have opportunities for 2 Lead Educators to join our Acorn Acres team in a full time on-going role

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will deliver nurturing and responsive care to children, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being are always prioritised. You'll communicate respectfully and professionally with families, supporting their involvement in their child's learning and development. Working effectively as part of a team of educators and support staff, you'll deliver consistent and high-quality early childhood education and care at the Acorn Acres Early Learning Centre.
You'll be a great communicator, effectively assisting families about their child's development and well-being and collaborating with other educators to create an environment that promotes learning and development, ensuring that all children, regardless of background, culture, or ability, have equal opportunities to participate in activities and learning experiences. You'll ensure a child-safe environment and contribute to a culture of child safety by fulfilling the responsibilities and requirements of Acorn Acres' Child Safe Policy and procedures.
What you'll bring - Skills, experience and certificates:
Hold an ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Minimum 3 year of experience as a Lead Educator/ Room Leader
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
Current recognised Level 2 First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate, with CPR updates completed within the last 12 months.
Awareness of the cultural needs of families.
Have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Possesses excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of mandatory reporting and child safety standards requirements.
