RoadTek Mackay Operations invites an innovative Senior Project Manager to lead impactful road infrastructure projects on a permanent basis.
RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. Responsibilities
* Project manage multiple road infrastructure projects, or more complex projects.
* Prepare and manage tenders and estimates.
* Ensure all operational system procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of projects to a high and consistent standard.
* Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of project staff that would promote effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude.
* Identify and engage the necessary internal and external expertise to deliver project requirements.
* Capture and share project outcomes and learnings, implement and foster best practice technology and project management methodologies.
* Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions
* A Washington Accord accredited four‐year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.
* Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). The employee may be required to mentor and supervise the work of non RPEQs.
* Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
* Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
* You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
