We are on the lookout for an experienced Tax Specialist for one of our clients based close to Sydney Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a permanent, full-time role (76 hours per fortnight), supporting tax operations across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role
As a Tax Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering country-specific tax strategies aligned with global policies and business objectives. You’ll ensure compliance across direct and indirect tax obligations through a robust Tax Control Framework. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurate and timely tax filings
- Managing transfer pricing documentation
- Supporting statutory and management reporting across multiple jurisdictions
- Advising finance teams on tax matters and handling audits
- Contributing to legal structure and investment setup optimisation
- Ensuring automation outputs are tax-compliant and maintaining proper records
- Promoting tax awareness across teams
- Participating in local and global projects with relevant input
Who You Are
You bring:
- At least 4 years of experience in tax operations, including both advisory and in-house roles
- A degree in Tax Law, Tax Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess tax risks and identify improvement opportunities
- A collaborative mindset, working effectively with stakeholders across finance, legal, and global tax teams
- Deep understanding of local tax regulations and planning strategies, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and evolving business environment
