The Role
As the Director of Nursing, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership, strategic oversight, and operational management of the surgical unit on site.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong, visible leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team.
* Oversee the clinical operations of the day surgery and specialist clinics.
* Ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
* Drive clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and performance outcomes.
* Foster a positive, high-performing culture with a focus on safety and excellence.
About You
* Experienced DON or Theatre Manager with a solid background in perioperative or day surgery settings.
* Demonstrated capability in team leadership, staff development, and operational management.
* Strong working knowledge of NSQHS Standards, accreditation processes, and clinical governance frameworks.
* Proficient in budget management and P&L oversight.
* Passionate about delivering high-quality care and achieving outstanding patient outcomes.
* A collaborative leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
