Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our national team of clinicians. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans to increase skills and enhance independence.
* Work with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
* Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours.
* Provide assessments and interventions across the lifespan and across a diverse range of presentations.
Requirements:
* NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner or ability to become registered.
* Minimum Bachelors degree in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health or Nursing.
* Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses desirable.
* A car and licence.
* National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one before commencement.
