About The Role
Operating within Psychology (Melbourne), the role of the Associate Professor / Professor is to provide a significant contribution to the leadership and development of research, scholarship and teaching in the Discipline of Psychology, located within the School of Behavioural and Health Sciences at the ACU Melbourne campus.
- Deliver a program of high-quality research in an area consistent with the existing strengths in the discipline that has a significant impact in the chosen field and which is accompanied by effective community engagement
- Provide mentoring to early and mid-career researchers in the school and make a major contribution to the training and supervision of students in both the fourth year and postgraduate programs
- Provide high-quality teaching, with a focus on the postgraduate professional programs in the school on the Melbourne campus

- Associate Professor: Total remuneration valued to $202,205 - $222,587 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $171,352 - $188,772 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level E Increment 1), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Professor: Total remuneration valued to $259,969 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $220,723 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level E Increment 1), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date
