Director, Enterprise Performance and Assurance
The Commission is seeking an experienced Director to lead the establishment and transition of enterprise performance, assurance, and risk functions. This role is responsible for developing, embedding, and refining frameworks, policies, and procedures to support strategic goals, compliance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act, and effective identification and management of enterprise risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain a contemporary and compliant risk management framework and quality assurance framework.
2. Manage the Commission's Enterprise Risk Register.
3. Provide advice on PGPA requirements, corporate governance compliance obligations, and existing and emerging risks to support strategic decision processes and critical issues response.
4. Lead coordination of the Commission's internal audit function.
5. Provide reporting on these functions to the Risk and Audit Committee.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience working in government and knowledge of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act.
* Experience leading strategic planning and implementing organisational-wide initiatives and governance frameworks.
* Demonstrated understanding of the role and functions of regulation and the importance of corporate functions to the overall performance of a regulatory agency.
* Highly developed leadership skills, including the ability to lead in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, build trust, provide strategic advice, and lead multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
* Base salary between $141,487 and $167,513 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
