About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Technician to join our team at Lismore Toyota. As an Apprentice Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, from Toyota and MG models to other makes and models. This is a full‐time position, providing you with the opportunity to gain valuable hands‐on experience and work towards your automotive trade qualification.
What you'll be doing
* Assist experienced technicians with vehicle maintenance and repairs, including servicing, diagnostics, and component replacements
* Learn and apply technical skills to safely and efficiently complete a variety of automotive tasks
* Participate in training and mentoring to develop your expertise in the automotive industry
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained
* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and others
What we're looking for
* A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to learn and grow as an Apprentice Technician
* Strong problem‐solving and critical‐thinking skills to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues
* Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail
* A willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced technicians
* A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
