Reporting into the Field Service Supervisor, the Field Service Plant Mechanic will join the Field Service team on a full-time permanent basis at our Port Hedland branch.
This role will provide comprehensive on-site support for a diverse range of CAT equipment across various industries.
About Port Hedland
Our Field Service team in Port Hedland assist in repairing and maintaining Caterpillar equipment from large mining machinery to marine equipment, whilst strengthening ongoing relationships with multiple customers.
Roster:
2/1 - 14 days, 7 off – (10 or 12-hours each day + Overtime if needed)
12/9 - 12 days, 9 off - (10 or 12-hours each day + Overtime if needed)
10/4 – 10 days, 4 off – (10 hours each day + Overtime if needed)
We will look at interstate candidates on a 2/2 roster (flights from major cities to Perth covered) What You'll Do: Visiting customer sites to diagnose faults on Caterpillar equipmentCarrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing of mining and marine machineryManaging Work OrdersCarry out Product Improvement Plans and Product Support ProgramsMaintaining and operating a safe work environmentAssisting the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI's Skills & Experience: Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience (Field Service) is essentialDriver's License and LR license required (as a minimum) is essentialHRWL (i.e.
