Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Survey Lead to oversee all survey operations and provide technical direction to the direct-hire survey team. This role involves directing the implementation of project safety, quality, and environmental programs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and implementing the survey training program, overseeing the administration of the survey work request program, and providing Construction Survey support to both Field Engineering and Field Supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately laying out construction work, recording field data according to job specifications, and performing and/or checking survey computations as required. They will also be expected to provide project completion documentation, including "As-Built" records.
Requirements:
* A degree in Engineering or a related field and 9 years of experience in heavy construction/industrial surveying, involving a mix of field and office duties with modern instruments and software
* At least 3 years of supervisorial experience or 15 years of experience (in lieu of a degree) with at least 5 years of supervisorial experience
