Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
* Join a forward‐thinking haematology clinical trials team at Liverpool Hospital.
* Combine advanced clinical nursing practice with cutting‐edge research delivery.
* Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient‐centred trial care.
* Coordinate clinical trial participation, including protocols, scheduling, and monitoring.
* Advocate for patients and families, providing education and guidance throughout their trial journey.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Practice in line with legislation, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
* Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams.
* Confidently interpret trial protocols and manage accurate documentation and data entry.
* Demonstrate a strong patient‐focused approach, upholding dignity, privacy, and informed choice.
* Apply excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to integrate research into holistic care.
Selection Criteria
* Do you currently hold Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, relevant post‐registration qualification and at least 3 years full‐time equivalent experience working the clinical area of your qualification?
* Give a brief overview of your education, training, and clinically relevant experience for the role.
* Are you accredited and experienced in the administration and management of cytotoxic (chemotherapy) and biological therapies, as well as accredited in Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs), cannulation, and venepuncture?
* Do you have a current Australian C‐Class driver's licence (including P1 or P2)? If you hold a C‐class licence (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW, you must obtain a NSW C‐class licence (P1 or P2 included) within three months of appointment. Learner's licences are not permitted.
* Describe your ability to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive nursing care, including how you communicate and collaborate with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to meet care needs both independently and as part of a team.
* Describe your experience and skills relevant to clinical trials or research nursing, including your understanding of clinical trial principles, organisational and communication skills, use of electronic medical records and computer systems, and involvement in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement activities that would make you suitable for a CNS2 position.
