We currently have an opportunity available at our Home Improvement Store in Bunbury. We are seeking a career orientated sales professional to join our retail team. You will liaise with our retail and trade customer base, servicing a wide range of our products to ensure that our customers get exactly what they need
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 38 hours across Monday to Saturday. The store is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 2.00pm.
The right candidate will be competitively remunerated (based on relevant skills and experience) as well as enjoy the benefit of store discount
Duties will include:
* Face to face and telephone customer service and sales.
* Assisting customers to find innovative design solutions utilising CAD software.
* Prepare accurate and timely project quotations.
* Maintaining store stock levels and general housekeeping.
* Assist in customer pick-up area to ensure products are loaded safely into customer vehicles.
* Engage in regular product and sales training.
* Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.
Skills and attributes:
* Proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales.
* A passion to deliver outstanding customer service.
* Previous experience within a retail and/or building industry preferred.
* Competent with a variety of software systems.
* Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Forklift license or willingness to obtain.
* Previous design consulting or building experience highly desirable, but not necessary.
