Human Resources Officer: Key Responsibilities and Requirements
This role involves providing timely and accurate advice to internal leadership stakeholders and employees. Responding appropriately within service level agreement timeframes to customer inquiries (internal and external) with a high degree of accuracy and within quality guidelines is also essential.
Main Duties:
* Transactional Tasks: Complete transactional tasks for the entire employee lifecycle across various entities, including review of data and approvals, creation of contracts and letters, and processing into HRIS systems.
* Employee Support: Provide accurate and timely advice to employees regarding company processes via HR portals, face-to-face, or hotlines, escalating complex matters to the HR Services Manager or HR Business Partners as needed.
* Cross-Entity Processes: Participate in and assist with cross-entity employee onboarding and exit processes.
* Position Maintenance: Maintain high attention to detail in creating and maintaining positions within HRIS systems.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a HR shared services environment. A good working knowledge of employment legislation and industrial relations is also required. The ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality is crucial.
