This position is located at the Nepean Hospital Microbiology Laboratory, NSW Health Pathology - West. Nepean Hospital is home to our brand-new purpose-built Pathology Laboratory, and provides a comprehensive on-site Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases service for the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. This position will be covering for a maternity relief position for up to 12 months, and is an excellent career advancement opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Scientist wishing to expand on their experience in clinical operations, people management, and all aspects related to the day to day running of a Pathology Microbiology Laboratory. This role is also responsible for the technical scientific supervision of peripheral laboratories located at Bathurst, Orange, Lithgow and Blue Mountains.
