About the Opportunity

Commencing in January 2026, for a period of two years, there are two exciting opportunities for Graduate Civil Engineers to join our organisation.
In this role, you will undertake a graduate program developed specifically for you, giving you exposure to a range of civil engineering functions for the investigation and delivery of civil and recreation infrastructure projects undertaken by Council. Functions will include the investigation and design of projects, undertake traffic and drainage investigation, preparation of specification and contract documents, assist in the delivery of works and assist with development engineering when required.
These duties are going to help you develop a solid foundation to your civil engineering career and help you grow from the ground up!
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Degree level qualifications in Civil engineering in the previous two years or completion of degree by January 2026.
- Contemporary industry knowledge of civil engineering areas.
- Experience and understanding in project support and the research, analysis and presentation of information.
- Current Class C driver\'s licence.
Benefits
This is a full time, temporary role working a 35-hour week, with a salary commencing from $70,728.84 per year + 12% super. Graduates will also have access to Council's great staff benefits such as adaptable working arrangements & fitness passport.
