Looking for a Good Mate for Weekly Catch-Ups – Community Volunteer Opportunity (Bathurst) We’re hoping to find someone who enjoys good conversation, music, and a relaxed catch-up to visit an older member of our community each week. These visits are all about companionship and sharing a few simple joys — a chat over coffee, listening to some classical or folk music, and talking about cricket, life, and everything in between. Sometimes the best part of the week is just having someone to sit with, laugh with, and share stories with. What visits might look like: Coffee and a friendly chat Listening to classical or folk music together Talking cricket, sport, and memories Easy conversation and good company When: Weekly visits (flexible) Where: Bathurst A friendly visit might only take a little time, but it can mean a great deal to someone who truly values the company. If you enjoy music, cricket, a bit of banter, and making someone’s week brighter, this could be a really rewarding way to give back. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxFDDi9bS6c HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
