We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Solids Collections Team. Based in Townsville, this role supports operations across Bowen and the Burdekin, leading frontline teams with strong support from the Branch Manager.
The Opportunity
* Drive operational performance through clear communication, structured planning, visual reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build, coach and lead engaged teams to deliver consistent, high‐quality outcomes aligned with company values and regulatory requirements.
* Promote and maintain safe operating practices in line with legislative and regulatory requirements through regular monitoring and review of activities.
About You
* Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and implement practical operational solutions.
* A hands‐on leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in people development, coaching and performance management.
* High level and engaging management skills, coupled with a high standard of written and verbal communication.
* Proven experience leading from the front, including coaching, mentoring, performance management and driving positive change.
Role Requirements
* Ability to successfully undertake and maintain NHV Level 1 security clearance, in line with role requirements.
* Australian Citizenship is required due to the security obligations associated with this position.
* Strong computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office, CRM systems and GPS or operational tracking tools.
* Demonstrated experience in production or logistics, with proven leadership capability in a supervisory or management role.
* Prepared to work a rostered weekend when required.
