About The Position
The Technical Officer - Electrical will provide electrical maintenance and minor capital works for Council including technical support for the management and maintenance of Muswellbrook Water and Wastewater's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, treatment works Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), pumping stations, and reservoir instrumentation and telemetry systems.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and replace electrical and instrumentation systems to resolve process faults
Supervise and support apprentice electricians when required
Provide technical advice to the Operations Manager, team members, and contractors
Interpret and update electrical engineering and P&ID drawings
Support asset management systems by supplying accurate data from completed works
Ensure compliance with WHS, standards, and regulations while contributing to planning and budgets

About You
Licensed Electrician – Electrical supervisors certificate and ability to maintain licence.
Relevant post-trade training.
Relevant post –trade qualifications, e.g. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent,
Class C Driver's Licence

Salary from $92,531 to $99,649 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation
