Job Description
In line with our growth strategy, the Buildings + Places (B+P) Global Business Line is seeking a B+P Critical Pursuits Director, APAC to capture major new business opportunities across the region. You'll collaborate with senior leaders, client account managers and technical teams to develop winning strategies, coach high‑performing teams and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
How you'll make a difference
* Lead capture strategy across key opportunities, including win strategy development, proposal leadership and client positioning.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and partners, deepening AECOM's presence in the market.
* Champion excellence in technical leadership, commercial insight, innovation, ESG integration and digital approaches.
* Mentor and develop capture and pursuit teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion and high performance.
* Contribute to strategic business planning, market growth initiatives and enterprise‑wide collaboration across regions.
* Model AECOM's values and behaviours, creating an environment defined by integrity, safety, quality, innovation and shared success.
Qualifications
You will bring a strong track record of leading major bids and developing high‑value client relationships across the consulting, construction/engineering or major projects environment. You're influential, commercially astute and skilled at navigating complexity while inspiring confidence in others.
The qualities that help you thrive
* Relevant technical qualifications with 12+ years' experience and proven leadership in capture management, business development or technical delivery on major programs, ideally within a Construction or Engineering environment.
* Strong client engagement capabilities, including discovery, value proposition development and strategic relationship building.
* Demonstrated track record of sales production, specifically the winning of major enterprise‑level pursuits.
* Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience working with pursuit metrics, proposal development and commercial, legal and risk considerations.
