Due to significant growth and recent successes in major infrastructure projects, we are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager / Engineer with relevant qualifications and experience to support project delivery. What We're Looking For
1. A focused and driven individual with high standards in safety, quality, and environmental management.
2. Someone with proven management skills, practices, and planning ability, as well as strong experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers for site works.
3. A highly effective negotiator and contract administrator with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
4. Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or construction discipline.
Your Responsibilities
1. Attend to the scope of work assigned with defined work methods and deliver the work in accordance with the total project schedule.
2. Ensure all quality and environmental aspects are addressed to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
3. Provide daily advice and support to field operations to ensure that daily targets are consistent with overall project targets.
4. Understand the obligations and rights under the head contract to identify, control, mitigate, and report significant risks and opportunities.
5. Supervise and coordinate resource allocation with the expectation that you encourage teamwork, develop and guide, and foster a positive attitude toward the achievement of project objectives.
6. Manage cost control for certain aspects of the project to ensure the project meets its performance targets in relation to budget and forecast.
7. Ensure project HSEQ objectives are set, shared, and adhered to create an exemplary safety culture aligned to the values of 'Safety is My Way.'
8. Build, manage, and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders creating lasting relationships to improve financial and productivity outcomes.
