Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Service Technician. This position requires adaptability and the ability to work independently.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and driven attitude, coupled with excellent communication skills and the capacity to work under pressure.
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment
* Develop requirements for new machine builds
* Train employees on Wirtgen Group machinery
* Identify and resolve machine issues or customer complaints
* Conduct thorough machine inspections
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
* Assist in training apprentices and other staff members as required
* Australian trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Proven experience in a Service Technician/Light Vehicle Mechanic role for a minimum of 2 years
* Unrestricted Driver's License
* Basic computer proficiency
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Clear problem-solving abilities
* High attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and follow direction
Candidates selected for this position will be required to complete a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol testing, and obtain a police clearance.
