Works with product and business leaders to understand requirements and define technical architectures to solve complex business and technical problems. Oversees the Business Application portfolio to ensure it remains fit for purpose, secure, supported and performant, including, but not limited to Mulesoft, .NET apps, InfoImage, Solace, Fynix, Paperless, Mailhouse, RTI, Fiserv CMS, et c. Implements and maintains modern development practices, including robust DevOps pipelines to ensure quality/standards and security are maintained throughout the development lifecycle. Embeds a culture of ownership and accountability, including maintaining low defect rates and effective support for systems operating in the production environment. Works with software, technical leads and other engineers and with relevant project / program stakeholders on maintaining solution architecture roadmap and vision. Defines and executes a long-term roadmap for the platforms to ensure all elements are maintained within supported versions, including modernizing underlying frameworks and development platforms. Drives execution of solution development through allocation and management of resources, and operation of modern development practices. Drives decision-making processes to consensus and ensures that steps are taken to implement the solution roadmap in alignment with good architecture and complaint practices. Contributes to strategy development for software, application, platform and infrastructure development and quality assurance. Defines and monitors team success metrics. Implements organization level initiatives and tasks within the team. You will be successful in this role if you have: 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 2-4 years’ leadership experience Financial service experience will be preferred.
