About the role?
We're a family, and as the Category Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager and Brand Manager to support the team to find mutually beneficial growth for us and our retail customers.
The role will have both an internal (Nando's) focus as well as interfacing into key retail partners such as Woolworths, Coles and independent retailers.- Keep abreast of shopper trends within the categories Nando's operates in through regular analysis of shopper KPIs and build any new insights into retailer meetings- Regularly assess performance of the categories, competitor brands and Nando's in the relevant categories though monthly reporting, sharing any key insights with Nando's distributor partners & retailers- Own Category objective settings (Penetration, IPI, Rate of Sale etc) and devise strategies and tactics in collaboration with Marketing & Sales colleagues and distributor partners to achieve these- Bring strategies and tactics to life with the retailers through compelling and engaging buyer review meetings- Lead annual category planning process, utilising data available, to drive insights around portfolio strategy, pricing strategy, merchandising strategy and channel strategy
