Senior Finance Business Partner, Ongoing full-time, Sydney This role is a Clerk Grade 9/10, with a base salary for this role starting at $129,464 - $142,665 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) to join our team and provide strategic financial leadership to Projects NSW. In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with project and portfolio leaders to deliver high ‑ quality financial insights, challenge assumptions, and ensure decisions are grounded in strong financial analysis. Some of the key responsibilities for the role include: Collaborating with INSW executive, project and operational teams in providing strategic, tactical and operational advice and support. Providing financial analysis, advice and recommendations to inform senior management decision making e.g. financial impacts, costing assistance, development and monitoring of budgets, funding sources and available options such as reprioritisation. Improving the level of budget, forecast and risk management understanding, and raise awareness of its importance across INSW operations. Collating complex data into cohesive useful information that is easily understood e.g. a ‘business story’. About You You will bring strong experience in management accounting, financial analysis, reporting and budgeting, supported by high proficiency in Excel, SAP and business intelligence tools. You will hold tertiary qualifications in business, finance or accounting, together with full professional membership of CA, CPA or CIMA. Your technical expertise will enable you to deliver high ‑ quality financial insights, support effective decision ‑ making and contribute confidently to strategic financial discussions across the organisation.
