The Opportunity:
The Warehouse Manager is an important and integral role within our Distribution Centre (DC), managing all areas of the warehouse operations to ensure effective and efficient distribution of fresh, ambient, chilled and frozen product to our customer restaurants. In this fast paced role you will be a people leader with the ability to build and develop our warehouse team and continue to drive our People First culture.
Day to Day you will:
 * Maintain a safe working environment across a 7 day a week operation with a focus on preventative actions and promoting a positive culture towards safety and wellness
 * Drive operations to ensure customer satisfaction, on time delivery and other service KPI's are achieved with regular reporting to identify issues, gaps or any shortfalls and explore cost effective internal opportunities
 * Lead and mentor a team of shift supervisors to develop and maintain an engaged workforce through promoting our CARES values within daily operations
 * Deliver and monitor efficient cost management protocols for the warehouse, through analysing weekly, monthly and annual financial reports and site performance against set budgets
 * Meet operational and facility compliance and legislative / customer driven requirements
 * Evaluate short-medium term capacity constraints and develop and implement action plans and solutions to address the constraints identified
 * Support the warehouse team utilising the Warehouse Management System (WMS) software to ensure optimum workflow
 * Manage employee training and development and ensure performance concerns are addressed
 * Ensure effective communication within the department and across other functional areas of the business to align and support all operations, and deliver on service
 * Embed and drive a culture of engagement and continuous improvement within the workplace
About You:
 * Demonstrated people leadership experience in a similar role ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or Warehouse Management industries
 * Ability to lead and influence a diverse team in a dynamic and fast paced environment through inclusive people management principles
 * Willingness to take initiative and drive results to ensure business KPIs are met and exceeded whilst upholding the highest levels of safety and customer service
 * Ability to think critically in complex situations, deal with ambiguity and think laterally to problem solve in a dynamic environment
 * Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements including Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and food safety standards i.e. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is advantageous
 * Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
