The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded and dynamic Senior Financial Controller to operate across both our growing outsourced CFO division and our internal finance department.
This is a unique hybrid role where you will act as a strategic financial leader within the firm, while also partnering with clients as a trusted advisor helping them navigate financial challenges, improve performance, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Advisory (Outsourced CFO)
* Act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients across various industries
* Provide strategic financial guidance, insights and recommendations
* Prepare and present management reports and financial analysis
* Develop budgets, forecasts and financial models
* Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies
* Assist clients with cash flow management, funding and growth strategies
Internal CFO Responsibilities
* Lead the firm's financial strategy and support business growth initiatives
* Provide financial insights to Partners and leadership team
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
* Monitor KPIs, profitability, and overall business performance
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
* Ensure strong governance, compliance, and internal controls
* Partner with internal teams to improve performance and efficiency
* Analyse pricing, recoverability, and client profitability
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
* Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities
* Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and external stakeholders
* Lead and develop the finance team
* Drive a high-performance, collaborative culture
Skills & Experience
* CA/CPA qualified
* Proven experience as a financial controller, Finance Manager, or senior finance leader
* Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
* Ability to influence and communicate at a senior level
* Experience in client-facing advisory roles highly regarded
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
