**About the role**
Reporting to the Construction Manager and project specific Site Manager, the successful applicant will be providing full construction activities for Transmission and Distribution Substations within the Victorian Electrical Industry.
- As a Work Group Leader**you will be responsible for running small teams of electricians installing and modifying high-voltage electrical equipment, including primary, secondary, and earthing systems, in both Greenfield and Brownfield sites, while ensuring compliance with industry and company safety standards.
- The Electrical Crew Leader position is based in VIC within our Substation’s division and are required to travel regularly within the "area of responsibility" - this will be a VIC role and area will cover Metro & Regional areas, with their depot being based in Dandenong.
Travel may involve working away from home (overnight stays & remote travel) and be available for overtime which will be dependant on the Projects deliverables.

- A strong focus on Safety
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in Brownfield Terminal and Zone Substations
- Ability to work within small and large teams
- Knowledgeable about relevant regulations and standards for high-voltage electrical work
- Accuracy in performing duties
- Ability to work under time pressure (under outage constraints)
- Adaptable in handling all aspects of the role (Primary and Secondary)
**To be successful you must have the following**:
- Electrical qualifications / trade certificates and licence
- Valid Driver’s License
- First Aid certificate with CPR
- VESI Complaint Training (favourable)
- Network Authorities (favourable)
- High Risk Work Licenses WP,CN,RI,DG (favourable)
