About the Opportunity An exceptional opportunity has opened up for an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injuries Lawyer at the Associate or Senior Associate level to step into leading team known for its specialist work in dust and disease claims. This is your chance to manage complex matters, deliver meaningful outcomes for injured individuals, and be part of a firm that values expertise, impact, and genuine client care. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a varied caseload, provide strategic legal guidance, and play a crucial part in mentoring and supporting junior staff. You’ll be trusted with high-level client engagement, advocacy, and the development of litigation strategies for sensitive and technically complex matters. Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on dust diseases, industrial injuries, and related personal injury claims. Deliver high-quality legal advice and advocacy for new and existing clients. Liaise with medical professionals, insurers, barristers, courts, and other key stakeholders. Prepare detailed legal documents, briefs to counsel, and appear in court and tribunal proceedings as required. Support and mentor junior lawyers and professional staff. Contribute to legal research, precedent development, and continuous improvement. Represent the firm at legal and community events, supporting its outreach and marketing initiatives. About You The ideal candidate will have: 3 years PAE in personal injuries litigation, preferably with experience in dust and disease matters. Strong legal research, drafting, and strategic case management skills. Experience briefing and instructing Counsel and managing complex litigation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support clients through highly sensitive cases. A team-focused, collaborative mindset, and the drive to help others grow. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
