Position Summary: The Equipment Showroom Sales role is QCC’s internal equipment sales representative, primarily for commercial clients. With an expert knowledge of Equipment Products as well as commercial customer needs, Equipment Showroom Sales role provides exceptional customer service and be the trusted advisor for our commercial customer’s equipment needs.
Products · Develop and maintain expert equipment product knowledge· Substitution knowledge – able to expertly recommend alternative equipment and products (when required).· Able to troubleshoot equipment issues with customers.· Expert knowledge of the capacity of products, suitability, limitations and the overall ‘fit-for-purpose’ of products in relation to customer needs.· Participate in equipment product/supplier training to maintain expert knowledge.· Actively promote current product promotions.· Warranty Issues - Key contact and liaison for managing equipment Warranty claims.
Financial· Work closely with Finance Providers in relation to setting up payment plans. E.g. SilverChef or other Finance Providers as required.· Ensure Client payments are made in line with established payment guidelines/timeframes. Equipment Showroom Environment· Actively seek out business opportunities in order to build customer relationships and portfolio.· Follow up with Customers after projects have been delivered to ensure ongoing business with the client.· Maintain a clean, aesthetically pleasing, and safe environment in the showroom area for customers, visitors and colleagues.· Maintain and update Showroom signage. · Product information and promotion details readily available.· Create a fantastic customer experience through a great looking store environment.· Maintain and assist with showroom layout changes depending on seasonal/shop development demands and in line with merchandise guidelines.
People · Providing exceptional customer service and making sure that the customer experience is second to none.· Help cover Customer Service role during peak times and/or in CS representatives absence such as holiday· Proactively greet and serve customers from the moment they enter the showroom.· Team Player – proactively provides support to the other Showroom Team Members and others when needed.· Maintain a consistently high level of communication with the line manager, Buyer Marketing Manager and Sales Team.· Provide expert product advice internally to Sales Team and others within the business as required.
