About The RoleThe Department for Education Communications Team is on the hunt for a Graphic Designer who lives for layouts, breathes branding, and has a versatile skillset to work across a wide variety of projects. The Graphic Designer will be part of our Creative Team who are the custodians of the department's brand and deliver end-to-end creative services that support the delivery of the department's communications priorities and objectives. You will deliver high quality graphic design advice, services and support across a range of media to enable the effective, efficient and consistent visual communication of information. Design products could include signage, publications, documents, online content, templates, illustrations, graphics, photography, video compilations, animations and creative solutions to assist the department in meeting communications objectives.
QualificationsEssential: A tertiary qualification in graphic design, multimedia or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. RemunerationASO4: $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
